Continuous Air Disinfection
Sanilume is an advanced germicidal ultraviolet fixture that creates 24/7 air disinfection in indoor spaces. It directs germicidal UVC light to a narrow zone safely above people's heads. Rising air currents within the room are amplified by this fixture and cycle the air through the germ-killing zone several times per hour. Eliminating these pathogens improves the air quality and protects you from deadly germs that may be in occupied spaces. It disinfects the air of a standard 400 sq. ft. room approximately every 2 minutes.
2021 Innovations Progress Report Selection Winner - Illuminating Engineering Society.

Sleek, Quiet and Efficient
- Ceiling mounted design
- Low maintenance and operates quietly
Uses germicidal ultraviolet light (GUV), specifically ultraviolet-C light (UVC), to efficiently neutralize bacteria & viruses. UVC has been used for many years in medical settings to effectively inactivate airborne pathogens. Up to 99% of common pathogens (e.g. viruses, bacteria, mold spores, funguses, etc.) are systematically eliminated.
It cycles the room air through the UVC rays and fixture approximately every 2 minutes per 400 square feet. This creates approximately 30 total equivalent air changes per hour (eACH).
Kills 99% of SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19 and its variants) in only 0.3 seconds when the air is pulled through the fixture.
- It is safe to operate while people (including children) are in the space and provides peace of mind to everyone knowing the air is being continuously disinfected.
- This GUV product is designed to comply with UL1598 CRD SL4.8 Risk Group 0• UL 1598 listed GUV fixture. Safety Certification.
- The installer must follow all the safety instructions in the owner's manual.
